There is a way forward that doesn't require leaving parts of yourself behind.

When trauma, abuse, or difficult relationships have shaped how you see yourself and the world, healing isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about finding your way back to yourself—with greater safety, choice, and trust.

What if the problem isn't you?

What if the anxiety, people-pleasing, shutting down, overthinking, difficulty trusting, or constant need to stay in control aren't signs that you're broken?

What if they're responses that developed for a reason?

Understanding that difference can change the way you relate to yourself.

Less shame. More understanding. More choice.

You might be here because...

You've been through something you haven't fully processed.

You keep finding yourself in patterns you want to change.

You have difficulty trusting yourself or other people.

You feel responsible for everyone else's emotions.

You know something isn't working, but you don't know how to change it.

You're tired of understanding why you feel this way and want to actually feel different.

If any of this sounds familiar, we can start there.

I work with children, youth, and adults navigating:

Trauma & abuse

Difficult relationships

Guilt, shame & self-worth

Emotional overwhelm

Eating disorders & disordered eating

Grief & major life transitions

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), and I work with children, youth, and adults navigating trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, difficult relationships, anxiety, depression, self-worth, and other experiences that can make life feel overwhelming or disconnected.

Often, people arrive knowing they want something to change but aren't quite sure where to begin. My work is about creating space to understand what's happening beneath the surface, develop new ways of responding, and reconnect with a greater sense of self and possibility.

I've spent more than two decades supporting people through complex life circumstances. My work is informed by a trauma-informed, feminist and anti-oppressive perspective, with particular attention to the ways trauma, relationships, power, and adversity shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

I bring curiosity, warmth, honesty, and clinical experience to our work. Together, we explore what's underneath the patterns you're experiencing and what becomes possible when you have more safety, understanding, and choice.

You don't have to leave parts of yourself behind to move forward.

Hi, I'm Rena.

You may have developed ways of coping that once helped you navigate difficult circumstances.

Some of those patterns may still be serving you.

Others may be keeping you from feeling connected to yourself, your relationships, or the life you want to create.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we have enough safety to become curious about ourselves rather than critical of ourselves.

My role isn't to tell you who you should be or give you a formula for healing. It's to create a space where you can explore what's happening with curiosity, develop greater self-trust, and begin making choices that feel more like your own.

Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, build new possibilities, and develop the skills and awareness to respond differently.

THERE IS NO SINGLE WAY TO HEAL

I draw from EMDR, Narrative Therapy, somatic approaches, DBT-informed work, CBT-E (specific for eating disorders), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness practices to support your individual process.
